This oil painting began on location and was completed in the studio. The light was beautiful and shadows strong. I used a panel made by artist/friend Gerard Blouin. He adheres linen to birch panel and I think it's my favorite surface to work on now.
I will be reproducing this painting in the next month available in two sizes and I am hoping people respond to it.
