I was strolling towards the beach the other afternoon and took some photos en route.  This is off the corner of Chapel Street on Old Town Road..tiny doll house sized buildings.  The one in the foreground houses a favorite lunch restaurant called the The Three Sisters. It's presently closed for the winter.

This is a little shed/cottage on a busy corner near 'Town" on Block Island where a good friend spends her summer when she rents out her own home.  It's her oasis in the middle of town!

I just completed this drawing before Christmas and sent it to the homeowner who I hope was happy with it.  It got me drawing again after a lengthy time period away from my own art or creativity. 

After a lengthy hiatus,  I have cleaned and refilled my drawing pens and hopefully the productivity and creativity will begin!  This is my first drawing for someone of the Manisses Hotel Garden on Block Island.

Skies of puffy clouds, sailboats on the move,  boulders and beaches...heaven!

More beaches and boulders although in this one I included figures which I don't 
usually do...pretending the beach is without a single person.

Here is another ink with watercolor drawing done in the British Virgin
Islands...I just can't get over the color of the water there...so different than
the island where I spend my other 351 days!

Here is another seascape with those incredible boulders and the sparkling turquoise water.

This drawing was done several weeks ago while sitting on the beach on an island in
 the Caribbean.  I spent the morning in the shade sketching this view among others.

This seascape was done while in the British Virgin Islands this winter!

This drawing was a commissioned one for the retiring  ecumenical choir leader as a thank you from the choir.  It is her home here on Block Island.

This small shed like building is called "The Savoy" by it's owners.

 

The Brooklyn Bridge as sketched looking towards Brooklyn from Manhattan for my son and his fiancee's save the date wedding invitation!

This is a view from a new home on Champlin Farm Road and was a commissioned drawing and given as a house warming gift to the new homeowners.

This home sits off the road almost hidden by shrubs, trees and hedge. It has an amazing view of the North Light and beyond.
