Today's completed commissioned drawing is of "The Plains" with it's expansive view of field and ocean it is breathtaking. The clouds are incredible this time of year on Block Island.

- Jessie Edwards is an artist living on Block Island. She owns and runs the Jessie Edwards Studio, a gallery which opened 26 years ago and specializes in regional fine art. During the off season she spends her time painting, drawing and catching up with aspects of her life which she has put aside during the hectic summer season. this is beautiful and different ...no houses
I was really nervous about doing this commissioned drawing for someone. Sans house was a challenge for me! Thanks for all your kind words!
